Project Description

Annual chimney inspection isn’t just our personal and professional recommendation it is recommended by The National Fire Protection Association Standard 211.

Why chimney inspections are important?

Having a regular chimney inspection is the best way to keep your home and family safe. After you burn wood, natural gas, and/or liquid propane substances (soot, creosote, carbon monoxide residue) begin to build up on the walls of your chimney over time. As it builds up, the soot can either block smoke from going up and out of the chimney causing toxic gases to enter your home. A clean chimney means a safer, more efficient fireplace and home heating appliance. Periodic chimney cleaning would have prevented many of the reported house fires.

Chimney inspections are also important if you have recently moved into a new home. It may not be clear if the previous owners used the fireplace, so a chimney inspection will make sure everything is in working order.

Catch an issue before it becomes a problem

Wolfman Chimney & Wildlife will check the outside structure and the inside of your chimney where soot and sediment can build up over time. Small animals will often create nests in chimneys during season where the fireplace is not in use. Give us a call today
